Record Setting Play puts exclamation point on victory over Cardinal

Berkshire defeated Cardinal on Friday night by a final score of 48-0. The win improves Berkshire's record to 1-2 on the season.
The final play of the game provided some fireworks, as junior reserve DJ Ashba set a new school record for yardage on an interception return for a touchdown! With :04 seconds to go in the contest, Ashba intercepted the Cardinal pass at the 2 yard line, and running as time expired, returned the ball 98 yards for a Badger touchdown!
The 98 yard return breaks the record of Ken Burzanko, who returned an INT for 97 yards during a game in the 1968 season.
Berkshire will look to even their season record this coming Saturday, when the travel to play the Trinity Trojans at 2:00 pm. The game will be played on the campus of Cuyahoga Heights High School.
