Boys Volleyball defeats Riverside in straight sets

Berkshire’s boys volleyball team picked up a 3-0 win over Riverside, earning the sweep behind a balanced team performance.

The Badgers finished the match with 28 kills, 24 assists, four aces, and 25 digs, while hitting .086 as a team.

Offensively, Danny Starr led Berkshire with eight kills, while Roman Percic added six and Scott Wendl contributed six. Maddox Fuentes chipped in four kills and Ethan Miller added three to round out the attack.

Ethan Miller directed the offense with 19 assists, while Carson Jones added three and Roman Percic recorded two.

At the service line, Berkshire totaled four aces, with Roman Percic leading the way with two. Carson Jones and Maddox Fuentes each added one.

Defensively, the Badgers were led by Carson Jones with 10 digs, while Danny Starr added seven and Roman Percic finished with four as Berkshire totaled 25 digs.

Berkshire also recorded four team blocks in the match.

The Badgers return to action Thursday when they host NDCL at 6:00 pm.
