Badger Wrestling wins CVC Title

The Berkshire boys wrestling team won the CVC Valley Division Wrestling Champions on January 31st at Hawken School. The Badgers scored 168 team points, outpacing Valley Division runner up Trinity by 49.5 points. The Badgers finished 3rd overall in the 24 team tournament. West Geauga (274.0) and Perry (201.0) finished 1st and 2nd overall.

The Badgers had six individual placers. Finishing 5th place in the 126 lb weight class was junior Matt Fultz. Freshman Alex Sustin (106 lb), junior Danny Auth (113 lb), sophomore Jacob Ulatowski (120 lb), and sophomore Estevan Huesca (157 lb) all finished in 4th place in their respective weight classes. Junior Caden Klingman (132 lb) and senior Danny Tiller (190 lb) were crowned CVC Champions.

It is the Badgers' first CVC title since 2023.
